Rescheduling
If there are dangerous weather conditions during your charter, you can reschedule your departure time or date for free and your deposit or down payment will be applied towards the new booking.
Cancellation Policies
- You can cancel your booking for free up to 5 days before the scheduled start time.
- If you cancel your booking between 3-5 days before the start time, you will receive a refund of 50%.
- Please note that if you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, a refund will not be issued.
Payment Policies
Please note that the full balance must be paid before departure. Failure to make payment may result in forfeiture of the charter.
Charter Hazardous Weather Conditions
Marine hazardous weather conditions must exist at time of departure.
Storms falling into the categories of all the below conditions that have their epicenter passing within 5 miles of Miami.
- Named storms affecting Miami local inland waters.
- Storms that are labeled ‘hazardous’ and forecasted to last more than 4 hours in duration affecting Miami local inland waters.
- Craft advisories issued for Miami local inland waters with winds exceeding 30 mph and or wave swells beyond 3 feet in height.
Additional conditions that are eligible for cancellation include
In case of unexpected events, such as a death in the immediate family or hospitalization, we require medical proof in the form of a certificate or doctor’s report for the return of the deposit.
Non-Cancellable Conditions
In the case of scattered showers, a chance of rain, or overcast skies, the business will be run as usual, and these are not considered cancellable weather conditions. If news stories sensationalize a weather story by issuing warnings that are not official state or federal travel restrictions, these will not be considered cancellable conditions.
Refund Processing Fees
Deposits or down payments may be returned in the case of hazardous weather conditions where rescheduling is not a possibility.
Sale Of Charter Vessels Or Unforeseen Unavailability of Vessel Inventory
In the event a charter vessel is sold, damaged, or inoperable. Aleluc Charter will attempt to find a comparable replacement option for the fulfillment of your booking. However, if such a vessel is unavailable or unattainable, Aleluc Charter reserves the right to cancel the charterer’s booking and furnish a full refund or deposit, therefore fulfilling Aleluc Charter obligations to the charterer.
