In this privacy policy, we will share policies on the information we collect, use, and disclose. We also collect information from other sources, such as the equipment on the boat you may rent. When we say “Aleluc Charter,” “our,” “we,” or “us,” we mean Aleluc Charter, Inc., and its affiliates.
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to www.AlelucCharter.com, including other apps, software, services or websites, provided, owned, or operated by Aleluc Charter.

Change
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy and should we make changes to said policy, we will inform you of these updates for your review. If you disagree with any changes, you have the option to close your account. By continuing to use our Services once you are notified of changes to this Privacy Policy, you indicate your consent to the revised Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
When we operate or provide our Services, we receive or collect information. Aleluc Charter may ask your consent to process personal information for a specific purpose that we will share with you.
Rental.
When you engage in boat rental or charter services, we may request and securely store your credit card number or billing information. Additionally, we may collect supplementary details from you, such as your driving record, criminal convictions history, loss history, and other information relevant to our underwriting process. As part of Aleluc Charter’s eligibility criteria (e.g., age requirements), we may also request your consent to verify your driver’s record. By granting us permission, you authorize us to access your driver’s record from state Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMVs), Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMVs), and other pertinent entities. Furthermore, you provide consent for these entities to disclose the requested information to Aleluc Charter.
In-Boat Hardware.
If a boat is equipped with a GPS tracking device and you activate it through Aleluc Charter, we may collect information about your boat usage, such as the time of use, location, speed of travel, and other relevant data. In cases where you rent or charter a boat that already has a GPS tracking device enabled by the boat owners, they may have access to the boat’s location information during the rental or charter period. Please note that your location information may be shared with insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, or other relevant parties for the purpose of investigating claims, providing assistance, or as required by law or legal proceedings.
Listing Information.
You have the ability to customize the information displayed on your listing profile, such as the city, boat description, and harbor location. This information enhances your experience with our Services, but it is ultimately up to you whether you choose to include sensitive details. We advise against posting or adding personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly accessible.
If you are the owner of a boat listed with Aleluc Charter, we may request documentation of an inspection, survey, or a boat history report. By listing your boat with us, you grant us permission to gather information about your boat’s history and inspection records from external sources (such as mechanics or inspection companies). You also provide consent for these parties to share relevant records with us.
Customer Support.
You have the option to provide us with information pertaining to your use of our Services, including copies of your messages, and your preferred contact details for customer support purposes. For instance, if you encounter an issue with a rental transaction, you may choose to email us with relevant information.
Automatically Collected Information.
We gather information related to the services provided, diagnostics, and performance. This encompasses details about your activity (such as your usage patterns, interactions with other users, and similar actions), log files, diagnostic reports, website performance logs, and crash reports.
Transactional Information: If you make payments for items accessible through our Services, we may receive information and confirmations, including payment receipts, from both our own payment processing systems and third-party payment processors.
Device and Connection Information.
When you install or access our Service, we may collect device specific information including information like hardware model, operating system information, IP address, mobile network information, phone number and other identifiers.

Our Services.
We use your information to help us operate and provide our Services, including providing customer support and improving, fixing, and customizing our Services. Communications About Our Services.
We communicate with you about our Services and features; to notify you of major updates for customer service purposes or to contact you regarding a Listing.
Promotional Messages.
We may periodically send promotional materials or notifications related to the Services. If you want to stop receiving promotional materials, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any communication.
Listings.
When you book with Aleluc Charter, we will share information with our Owners to include, but not limited to: first and last name, link to your booking information, and your contact information. This information will then provide the Owner with the ability to decide or decline your booking. Once confirmed, we will share the Owner’s identity to include their first and last name, phone number and Boat address along with their email or contact information. Billing Information will not be shared.
Compliance with Laws.
We will disclose any personal information about you to the government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including but not limited to subpoenas) to protect the property and rights of Aleluc Charter or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be or to pose a risk of being illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
Enforcement.
We will disclose any personal information about you to government or law enforcement officials and to our insurance services providers as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary, or to protect the property and rights of Aleluc Charter or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

Ad Choices.
You may generally opt out of receiving interest-based advertising.This does not opt you out of receiving advertising – you will continue to be presented generic ads or ads by advertisers not listed with certain self-regulatory tools.
Do Not Track.
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. DNT is a way for users to inform websites and services that they do not want certain information about their webpage visits collected over time and across websites or online services. We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information collected on our website for third-party purposes. Children’s Privacy.
IF YOU ARE UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICES AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER.Protecting the privacy of children is especially important. For that reason, Aleluc Charter does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16. When we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16, we will delete that information. California Privacy Rights.
California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those parties. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for the response. You may request this information in writing by contacting us at support@aleluccharters.com. Please allow up to thirty (30) days for a response.
Special Note to International Users Regarding Data Transfers.
The Services are hosted in the United States, and information collected by Aleluc Charter will be stored in the United States (in our major data centers). If you are accessing the Services from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued access and use of the Services, which are governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, and our Terms, you are transferring your information to the United States.
